The short version first: TikSnap has no accounts, sets no tracking cookies, runs no analytics and keeps no copies of the files you download. This page explains the small amount of data a visit produces, why it exists and what happens to it.

1. Who this policy covers

This policy describes how the operator of drivelive.fr handles information when you visit the site or use any of its tools: the video downloader, the photo downloader, the story downloader and the MP3 extractor. It applies to this domain only. TikTok's own data handling, including what their systems record when we request a file on your behalf, falls under TikTok's privacy policy and is outside our reach.

2. What we never collect

• No registration data. There are no accounts on this site, so we hold no names, email addresses, phone numbers or passwords.
• No payment data. The Service is free and has no billing of any kind, now or planned.
• No tracking. The site sets no cookies of its own, uses no localStorage, embeds no analytics scripts and runs no advertising trackers.
• No download archive. Files you request pass through our servers and are discarded right after transfer. Nothing lands in a database and no history is attached to your visit.

That is not marketing copy, it is how the site is built. The absence of accounts and payments removes most of the data a typical website would collect, and we have no reason to add any of it back.

3. What happens when you download something

Pressing Download triggers a short chain of events. The link you pasted is sent to our processing servers, which use it to locate the media on TikTok. The servers fetch the file and stream it to your browser. After that the link and the file are gone from working memory. The link serves the request and nothing else: it is not profiled, not shared with advertisers and not kept longer than the operation needs.

One technical detail worth knowing. To pull the media, our servers must talk to TikTok or its content delivery network. From TikTok's side that looks like an ordinary request for a public file made by our infrastructure, not by your device. TikTok may log that request under its own rules, which we cannot influence.

4. Server logs

Like nearly every site on the internet, our hosting produces technical logs. A typical entry contains the IP address that made the request, the browser user agent, the address requested, a timestamp and the response status. We use these logs to keep the Service safe and working: spotting abusive traffic, debugging errors and understanding load.

Logs are kept for a limited period, up to 90 days, and are then deleted or stripped of identifying details. They are never sold, rented or used for advertising. Access to them stays limited to the people who maintain the site.

5. Cookies

We do not set cookies and we do not read cookies set by others. There is no consent banner on this site for a simple reason: there is nothing to consent to. If a future feature ever needs a cookie, this policy gets updated first and the site will say so plainly.

6. Legal bases under GDPR

For visitors from the European Economic Area and the United Kingdom: processing of technical logs rests on our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the Service, balanced against your rights and expectations. Processing of the links you paste rests on performing the service you explicitly requested. No marketing or profiling takes place anywhere on the site, so there is no consent based processing to opt out of.

7. Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to ask whether we hold personal data about you, request a copy, have it corrected or deleted, restrict its use or object to processing. Because the site collects almost nothing, most requests end with a short confirmation that there is nothing on file beyond recent technical logs.

8. Children

The Service is not directed at children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their personal data. If you believe a child has provided personal information through this site, contact us and we will delete it.

9. How data is protected

All traffic to and from the site travels over HTTPS. We keep the data footprint deliberately small, which is the most effective protection available: there is no account database to breach and no file store to leak. Server access is limited to the operators who maintain the infrastructure. That said, no transmission over the internet can be guaranteed to be perfectly secure, and we promise only reasonable care, which is what we practice.

Pages on this site do not embed social widgets, comment systems or advertising frames. Once you follow a link away from drivelive.fr, this policy no longer applies, and it is worth reading the privacy terms of any site you land on.

11. Changes to this policy

If our practices change, this page changes with them and the date at the top moves. Material changes get described here before they take effect. Checking this page when you notice something new on the site is the easiest way to stay current.
